Effect of Different Soil Concentration of Selenium on Antioxidant Enzyme Activity of Raphanus sativus

摘要: A pot experiments were conducted to study the effects of different soils concentrations of selenium (Se) on the activities of antioxidant enzymes in Raphanus sativus. The results showed that different concentrations of Se treatment had significant effects activities of SOD, POD, CAT and soluble protein content of R. sativus. With the increase of Se concentration, activities of SOD, POD and CAT showed different trends. When Se concentration was 75 mg/kg, activities of SOD, POD were significantly higher than the control, increased by 50.76%, 320.32% respectively. When the concentration of Se was 50 mg/kg, the soluble protein content of R. sativus reached the peak, increased by 19.25%. Therefore, Se can affect the antioxidant enzyme activity and soluble protein content of R. sativus. In terms of antioxidant enzymes activity, Se concentration of 75 mg/kg was the best, and in terms of soluble protein control, Se concentration of 50 mg/kg was the best.
